Modified Ashtanga 1st primary series , guided with clear instruction and optional hands-on assists. Ashtanga is a set sequence, allowing students to gradually learn the poses over time rather than rushing through them. With time and dedication this practice becomes a moving meditation. The pace is consistent and physically engaging, yet always self-paced. You can rest whenever needed. The intention is not to complete poses, but to connect movement and breath until the mind becomes quiet. Opening and closing chants frame the practice, keeping the class grounded in tradition. I offer variations to all poses making it accessible for all levels willing to work steadily, patiently and consistently.
